Meet Practitioner Michelle
Holistic Lifestyle and Garden Coach
The lady of many names of many lives, now known simply as Practitioner Michelle. Michelle, created Soulfully Healthy Living to assist women of color in learning how to create healthier and more abundant lives. When she says "Holistic" she means the whole person: mind, body, emotions, daily lifestyle including spiritual practices. Michelle focuses her services, products and workshops on helping women leading high stress lives, with fertility issues, and those needing overall womb support. She supports her clients through Plant Based guidance, Kemetic Yoga, Breath Work, Meditation, Gardening and Herbal Support.
Practitioner Michelle came to this healing and wellness through her own struggles with health, stress and self acceptance. Most believed she led a charmed life but she struggled with depression and anxiety from a young age. To add insult to injury she was violently sexually assaulted in her twenties. Not having the right tools in place, it took years for her recovery. All of which resulted in a having a nervous breakdown during law school stemming from PTSD. Being a fighter, Michelle entered therapy and began her journey to health. Along the way, Michelle graduated from law school, attended acting conservatory and then moved back to Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, she balanced working in Corporate America and being a creative in the Entertainment Industry, both incredibly stressful environments. That stress took it's toll and she was diagnosed with fibroids long after she had transitioned to a plant based diet.
After realizing there was something missing, she went on to delve into true healing. Michelle began to truly understand that our mental, emotional state, creative outlets, spiritual connection, self care along with dietary and exercise choices all play a part in our whole health. In that study, Michelle finally found her purpose. Michelle has since gone on to study with Queen Afua, Yirser Ra Hotep, Herbal Academy, IAWP and numerous Master Teachers to bring the right balance to her holistic approach.
